Ella Vickery (@ellavickerytattoos) has done many of my tattoos now and I trust her completely. She is masterful at her work, gentle in her technique and always makes me feel comfortable and safe. Her drawing skills are incredible and she has a very good understanding of design placement.
She’ll work with you on a personal idea but has great flash designs to pick from. Her colour work and neotraditional designs are really beautiful.
Moonchild Modifications is a gorgeous studio. It’s very clean and organised, with lots of interesting pieces all around, to look at. All artists and staff members were really friendly, professional and kind. It was a very inclusive and relaxing place to be. I’ll be back very soon for more tattoos and I’m sure I’ll get a piercing too at some point! The piercer is one of the owners and she seems extremely talented.

Great experience with Keren, my daughter and I visited on a weekday. The place was welcoming, plenty of customers but not crazy busy. Keren took us back to the piercing area which was clean, light and airy. She checked both our anatomy and informed me I didn’t have quite the right anatomy for the hidden helix piercing I wanted. I was glad she gave me this information and let me make the decision. I went for a forward helix instead, my daughter went for a traditional helix. Keren cleaned everything thoroughly on multiple occasions, kept us informed through each step of the process and made us both feel comfortable. Even provided me with a bottle of water and a lolly after I felt a bit wobbly after my piercing! Great experience and will definitely return!

Ella Vickery, at Moonchild, did my tattoo in November 2025. She was fantastic. My first tattoos we're done around 35 years ago, so after that gap seeing, and feeling the way things have progressed was an eye opener. There's still some pain, but the noise is so much less now with modern cordless equipment. Ella took the time to size up the font to fit just right, and to go with the aged look, rather than pristine font. Really happy with the art she's done, looking forward to the next few :0)
